What is a Screening Benefit?
Essentially, a Screening Benefit entails the annual medical health checks that a member undergoes to ensure early detection of possible medical problems, as well as an overall general health check-up.
Screening Benefits are feasible for 3 of SPECTRAMED’s 5 benefit options, and must be carried out through a preferred provider – Go to www.clicks.co.za to find your closest Clicks Clinic.

SPECTRA Cobalt
Paid at 100% of SPECTRA Tariff; Subject to Benefit Booster™ limit.
Covers 1 test per beneficiary per annum for each of the following:
• Blood pressure
• Glucose
• Cholesterol
• Hb (Anaemia)
• Urine
• Weight loss / BMI counselling
• PAP smear.

SPECTRA Azure
Paid at 100% of SPECTRA Tariff; Subject to Benefit Booster™ limit.
Covers 1 test per beneficiary per annum for each of the following:
• Blood pressure
• Glucose
• Cholesterol
• Hb (Anaemia)
• Urine
• PAP smear.

SPECTRA Cyan
No Screening Benefit.

SPECTRA Capri
Paid at 100% of SPECTRA Tariff. Subject to My Saver™
Covers 1 test per beneficiary per annum for each of the following:
• Blood pressure
• Glucose
• Cholesterol
• Hb (Anaemia)
• Urine
• PAP smear.

SPECTRA Aqua
No Screening Benefit.
